MSP Gold and Diamonds started from 88 years ago 1st person in Karaikudi. In 1935 Gold and Diamond business was started in Kandavarayanpatti by M.S. Ponnaiya aachari. Later in 1945, M.S. Ponnaiya aachari started Jewellery business in karaikudi by the name as M.S.Ponnaiya Aachari & Sons. His son Mr. M.S.P. Sethuram Aachari is a one of the shareholder of M.S.Ponnaiya Aachari & Sons. He opened a new jewellery shop in the name of M.S.P. Sethuraman & Sons at the same place. At present, his successors, the managing directors also included Gem business in the name of M.S.P. Sethuraman & Co.
